Elderhorst Bells, Inc. provides a digital bell solution with the user programmable, Apollo III Digital Bell systems.
The Apollo III Digital Bell clock/carillon incorporates a quartz-based clock controller with a digital carillon control system allowing for the programmed play of swinging bell peals, the Angelus, Funeral tolls, and Melodies. The "Westminster", or other hourly melody may be programmed on the ¼, ½, ¾, and full hour, followed by hour-strike.
The Apollo III Digital with MIDI option adds user programming of melodies by means of a midi keyboard (included).
The Apollo III Digital may be programmed to play all hours, during specified hours, days of the week, or for a specific date, with custom date specifications.
The Apollo III Digital Bell Carillon is normally provided with a rack mount amplifier and steel rack mount enclosure with locking door as shown. Quality outdoor loudspeaker Horns are also provided. Additional configurations are available.
The Apollo III Digital can be configured with:
- Optional MIDI input capability - for direct play of the digital bells, or entry of new melodies into system melody.
- Optional control of electrically swung or stationary bells fitted with an electro-magnetic clapper
- Optional "NTP" (network time protocol), or GPS (global positioning satellite) time synchronization.
- Optional "VNC" (virtual network computing) interface for remote access via LAN
